Water is the irreplaceable natural resources for human’s survival and development.In recent years, the demand for water is increasing. Shortage of water resources hasbecome more and more prominent. Many countries began to hammer at opening up anew second water source. In this situation, middle water has become an importantstrategy to alleviate water crisis. In China, Water reuse technology has been developedin many cities and regions. In recent years, with the speeding up of the new socialistrural construction, the level of infrastructure construction has been promoted. TheNorth of Shaanxi is an area with severe shortage of water. So adding water reusesystem in infrastructure construction has become an important way to relieve waterstress.This paper based on the rural water resources, water supplying and drainagefacilities and gray water recycle technology of the North of Shaanxi as the researchobject. According to the results of the research, The North of Shaanxi area has ashortage of water. And water conservancy facilities construction lags behind. Waterpollution is serious. Water resources has an actuality of mismanagement. Watershortage has caused a certain degree of negative impact for industry, agriculture, theenvironment and people’s living standards. Therefore, northern Shaanxi has an urgentneed of cutting costs, and improving the efficiency of water use. This papersummarizes the characteristics of water resources and it’s using, and analysis thenecessity and feasibility of the application of water reuse technology in this area.Considered that the rural village is small but there is a lot of idle land, we choose themembrane-biological contact oxidation technology for the water reuse treatmentprocesses. With the application of this technology and the specific village of Gut Township in Yulin City, this paper designed a set of complete water reuse treatmentscheme. And it also analyzed and determined the water quality and quantity, theprocess of water reuse technology and parameters, the equipment and facilities. At theend, it formed a complete water reuse system.Based on these studies, it takes the technical and economic analysis for theestablished water reuse technology solutions, including estimation of investment, costanalysis, break-even analysis, scale efficiency and comprehensive benefit analysis. Ituse the method of fuzzy mathematics to determine the price of reclaimed-water, andthe price of reclaimed-water not only includes the cost from gray water system, butalso contains the resource value of middle water. Finally, it concluded that water reusehas a broad application prospects in the rural areas.
