With the continuous development of society, people made higher demand ofquality of living environment, yet noise pollution especially road traffic noise have aserious affect on the comfort of the living environment. Scientific research has shownthat when the speed of the vehicle is over70km/h, the main part of the car noise isgenerated by the tire tread; therefore, lower the noise of tread noise and the design oflow-noise tread is currently becoming the urgent problem of the major tiremanufacturers.Under the positive efforts of our tire project team and several co-operativemanufacturers, we have developed TNS/ODS optimization system, which cansimulate the tire noise and then pick out the lower noise tire tread. It has made asatisfactory achievement in the design of low-noise tire. However, the simulatedspectrum got from software is different from the whole noise spectrum measured inanechoic lab, thus we decompose the whole noise to get the tire tread noise,whichcan contrast to the simulated spectrum. Meanwhile we synthesis the simulated tirenoise to get the road/noise,which is similar to the noise produced when the tire rollingon the pavement.The significance and background of the research on low-noise tire is described atthe beginning of the thesis. Then the vocal mechanism of tire noise is systematicallydiscussed,and how to analysis the noise spectrum is stated in the second part, the keypoint of the synthesis and decompose of tire noise is the theory and detailed operation,the noise got after synthesizing and decomposing is an important indicator to judgethe level of tire noise. After that is detailed description of software development andsoftware design process on the VC platform, which achieve ideal improvements onTNS/ODS software. Finally we use examples to research and discussion thesynthesize and decompose technology of tire noise,the consequence is the spectrumgot from synthesizing and decomposing can provide an important guidance for thedesign of low-noise tire tread.
