Since the reform and opening-up, the economy of China has make a spurt ofprogress of development, and people’s living has improved significantly. However, with the rapid economic development, there appear a lot of problems, such as thewaste of resources, environmental pollution, ecological crisis and so on. The purposeof humans is to make the economy harmonious development with resources andenvironment, so now has explored a new model of sustainable development-greeneconomy. Since the global financial crisis of2009, the green economic developmentmodel has been recognized by more and more countries. This paper constructs an evaluation index system of green economydevelopment level, and studies the development of green economy statically anddynamically with entropy method and the improved topsis method by using dates of2007~2012among different provinces of China, and also studies the spatialcorrelation among economic index, social index, resources and environment indexand policy index. Now, the conclusions obtained are as follows:1, The four dimensions of green economy keep a state of imbalance. What’more, the difference of social index among different provinces presents a littleobviously. The other three dimensions keep relatively balance, but overall level arenot high. On the whole, the green economy level of China is not very high.2, It has proved that social development status exist canonical correlation witheconomic development, as the same as environment and government policy, and thelevel of economic development affects the level of the other three dimensions to acertain extent.3, The four dimensions of green economic development show spatialcorrelation because of geographical proximity, and the data of local Moran’s I refectsgreen economic has regional agglomeration phenomenon.
