In modern society, welding technology must be used in many fields of industrialproduction, and the development of modern industrial technology push the progress ofwelding technology, welding technology has reached the unprecedented height.Inverter welding machine has become the mainstream welding equipment because ofits small volume, high efficiency and simple control. At present, main focus oftechnological innovation embodied in arc welding inverter power supply technologyand deepens of welding technology. The purpose of this paper is to develop anintelligent controlled arc welding power based on soft switch inverter.Switch device of traditional arc welding power often works in hard switchingstate, switch waste is big and the efficiency is low. In this paper, on the basis ofin-depth study of soft switching inverter circuit topology, we choose ZVZCS-PWMinverter circuit as the main circuit of arc welding power, in this circuit advancedbridge arm achieve zero voltage switching, lag bridge arm achieve zero currentswitching by saturable inductor in transformer primary side, it greatly reduces theswitching loss and is convenient for accurate waveform control. We have simulatedthe main, it has obtained good effect.We use DSP to design control system, it realized digital control of arc weldingpower. Because the welding system is a complex nonlinear system, traditional PIDcontrol method is difficult to realize automatic control, the paper design a neuralnetwork controller based on BP algorithm based on the theory of artificial neuralnetwork and its combined it with PID controller, using the neural network controlleradjust PID control parameters online in order to develop control accuracy andreal-time performance. Traditional PID control algorithm and the neural network PIDcontrol algorithm are simulated in this paper. By contrast, the superiority of the neuralnetwork PID algorithm is verified.Main circuit is set and its operation result is good, it verifies the accuracy of thecircuit design.
