Whenthe external force wants to destroy the glass surface, it have to offset this layer surfacecompressive stress.So the larger compressive stress the glass have, the highercompressive strength and the flexural performance. However if you want to know thesize of the compressive stress, we have to measure them by the equipment.In this dissertation, the principle of glass stress measurement is firstly elaborates,and he advantages and disadvantages of various measurement methods are discussed t.then we put emphasis up on FSM series stress measuring instrument, including thestructure, calculation method, etc. This topic based on FSM accurate measurement ofthe measuring device, after repeated verification and data analysis, we got therelationship among CS、DOL、ion exchange time and temperature. And the newgeneration of Corning Gorilla glass was successful applied to production.theestablished goals werefinally achieved.
