Reserch On Tyre Production Planning And Control For Linglong Tyre Company

With the development of the society, rapid growing of global economy andunceasing innovation of car production, people’s demand for tyre performance isgetting higher and higher. Various types of tyre patterns have been exploited tomeet requirements of different road conditions. Both domestic and overseas tyremarkets are changing continuously, mainly at three aspects: Firstly, new tyreproducts come out fast and replace the old ones quickly; Secondly, along with thenumber of tyre specs are increasing, the case of ordering single spec isdecreasing; Finally, the influence of product quality and delivery time of goodsplays a larger part to customers’ decisions, which will directly decide theenterprise’s competitiveness and sales proceeds. In the severe market situation offierce competition nowadays, in order to adapt for the changeable market, makefull use of the enterprise resources, and shorten delivery term, low down storageamount and enhance company’s competence, it is quite important to strengthenthe management of production plans and control.This thesis firstly give a brief introduction of domestic and overseasproduction plan and control theory and their current situation and then give ananalysis of the production plan and control situation in Shandong Linglong TyreCo., LTD.. This thesis raised questions that current plan system could not dealwith the frequent changes of orders and emergent order insert and analysed thedefect that the current plan system could not consider the aspects of theequipment’s production capability, unusual production situation and stockchanges, and thus caused the increase of stock and delay of shipment.Secondly, this thesis analyzed the necessity and feasibility for theapplication of advanced production planning and control system (Her einafterreferred to as APS). Following the principles of practicality, credibility, agilityand easy maintenance, the APS mode and process is designed, which is speciallysuitable for Shandong Linglong Tyre CO.,LTD.. The APS and its each interfaceare designed in detail in order that the company’s resources, production controlconditions and stock information could be effectively gathered, and then it couldform the scrolling daily plan to effectively direct production. Finally, this thesis describes the specific measures to ensure the implement of APS.This thesis provides valuable reference scheme for the production planmanagement in Shandong Linglong Tyre Co.,Ltd.. Hopefully, it will effectivelysolve problems currently existing in the company, enhances the management ofproduction plan, and at the same times offers useful guide for production planmanagement in the enterprises of the same line.
