Ordered mesoporous carbon has great potential application inmany fields as one kind of porous materials with excellent properties.Mesoporous carbon supported noble metal catalyst possesses higheractivity and raises the utilization rate of noble metal particles andcatalyzes chemical reactions involving macromolecular due to theirhuge specific surface area, large pore volume, narrow pore sizedistribution and open pore system.In this paper the ordered mesoporous carbon were synthesized viatwo-step hard template method, one-step hard template method and softtemplate method respectively. The influences of different reactionfactors on pore structure and the possible formation mechanisms werestudied. Ordered mesoporous carbon supported Pt particles wereprepared and its electrochemical performance was preliminary studied.Ordered mesoporous silica was synthesized under differentconditions. And ordered mesoporous carbon was prepared using thesynthesized silica template. The results indicated that with the rising ofreaction temperature, the phase transformation of mesoporous silicafrom hexagonal p6mm to cubic Ia3d was observed, and the structure ofmesoporous carbon replicated from silica template transformed fromcubic Ia3d to tetragonal I41/a. The preliminary discussion on phasetransition was carried on. The ordered mesoporous carbon had a highestorder degree using the synthesized silica at15℃as template.The meosporous carbon was prepared using surfactant as templateand TEOS as silica sources and soluble phenolic resin as carbon sources.The influences of different reaction factors on pore structure werestudied. The results indicated that oxalic acid not only adjusts the pHvalue of the solution but also catalyzes hydrolytic polymerization ofTEOS which resulting in a higher order degree. At the same time, withreducing of the pH value, the higher order degree was obtained. We have also synthesized ordered mesoporous carbon using blockcopolymer as template and soluble phenolic resin as carbon sources.The results indicated that appropriate increasing of heating rate canlead to a higher degree of order of mesoporous carbon with goodthermal stability. When block copolymer with different chain lengthwas used as template, synthesized mesoporous carbon has differentstructure and the possible formation mechanism has been proposed.The one-step hard template method and soft template method havea short period, simple process with an important significance forindustrial production, but it has a lower order. The mesoporous carbonsynthesized by two-step hard template method has a highest degree oforder, although it has a long period, complex process and high cost ofsilica template,Ordered mesoporous carbons supported noble metal Pt particleswere prepared by dipping method and the test results indicated that thehigher order degree using synthesized mesoporous carbon which wasused as catalyst carrier, the better catalytic performance with a largercapacitance. Using the mesoporous carbon synthesized by one-stepmethod and soft template method as catalyst carrier, the catalysts havealso showed well performance of capacitor in spite of lowercapacitance.
