| China’s economy enjoyed a rapid development over the past decade. On the one hand,more and more emphasis is paid on the experience process by consumers, and experientialconsumption tends to become the mainstream consumption pattern as a substitute for otherconsumption patterns. On the other hand, experiential cultural spaces, a new artistic form,are booming with the increasing pursuit of culture among the public. Combining literatureresearch and filed trip expedition, this paper investigated the relationship betweenexperience types in experiential cultural spaces and the value of cultural spaces on basis ofrelevant experience and cultural spaces concepts for one thing. For another thing, the designelements of experiential cultural spaces at macro level-the overall ideology, at mesolevel-the space structure, and at micro level-sensory experience, was summarized in thelight of the demand of space experiential forms and cultural spaces. Moreover, the researchof furniture culture including the development history, the species, the ways of combination,and material selection was integrated into the theory of experiential cultural spaces anddesign elements, and then the value relationship and design elements of furnitureexperiential cultural spaces were summed up. Furthermore, this paper investigated thespace forms of the existing furniture culture according to the field trip expedition, and thensummarized the problems of furniture experiential cultural spaces, and finallycorresponding design recommendations for improvement was put forward from the aspectsof practice and theory. |
