Glassy alloys are metal functional materials with new microstructure in nearly30years. It has excellent physical and chemical properties, and its application field wide,because its organization characteristics show the order of the atomic arrangement wasshort-range. In recent year, with the development of China’s aviation and navigation, theaerospace equipment will has corrosion in different atmosphere and marine environment,then leading to catastrophic accidents. At the same time, the military enterprise paidattention to not only the performance and benefits of military products in peacetime, butpaid more attention to how to save the product safely. To prevent the corrosion of militaryequipment in the absence of combat readiness task is important. Now, how to make thebulk glass state alloy is a big problem. In this paper, we study its corrosion resistance bypreparing the glass state alloy powder which was sprayed on the substrate.In this paper, I choose the alloy of Al-Ce-TM (TM indicates excessive element)system as the research object. Preparing the two alloys Al-Ce-TM (Ni, Fe) powder by gasatomization method. Then, I characterize the powder by using X-ray diffraction, scanningelectron microscopy, analyzing particle size, scanning calorimetry analysis and othermeans. I took the methed of cold gas dynamic spraying to make the powder coating on thesteel substrate. Its characteristics were low experiment temperature, small thermal impactto the substrate, high powder deposition rate, good economy, simple equipment. Coatinglayer by cold spraying would withstand the compressive stress, has low relatively, at thesame time has high bonding strength.I draw conclusions after test: It is a amorphous/amorphous coexistence of amorphouspowder made by gas atomization. The powder’s particle is relatively uniform, the powdersphericity is better. Petreatment sandblasting substrate surface roughness, powder caneasier chimeric onto the substrate; Post-processing sandblasting can consolidate spraycoating, the density of the coating on the side is better. Pretreatment sandblasting had littleeffect on corrosion resistance, more effect on the adhesion strength of the coating and substrate. The corrosion resistance of post-processing of shot peening specimens was betterthan without the sandblasting sample. With the increase of the theoretical thickness of thesand sample, its corrosion resistance is relatively better and for no sand substrate samples,less spraying times and the combination of substrate and powder is bad lead to the littlechange of its corrosion resistance.
