The hematite in china is often with a low concentration grade and difficult to be separated by conventional method. In ore dressing industries the shaft furnace is often adopted to roast the hematite ore since the magnetism of hematite is enhanced with the procedure of high temperature reduction roasting, and then the refined ore is collected with magnetic separation. Due to the synthetic and complex characteristic of roasting process, such as the varied operation conditions and the characteristic of multivariable, strong coupling, strong nonlinear, the abnormal condition is often occurred if the operation is not conducted properly in time and the quality of roasting may be poor and even the device may be damaged in some instance. Traditional roasting process method can hardly acquire a better control personality, thus realizing the optimization of roasting process and designing corresponding optimal control software is important to improve product quality and efficiency. The thesis is based on the existed shaft furnace roasting process optimization control strategy and supported by the National973project "The research of several technologies and the half material object simulation platform in integrated control system with the property of security, synergism and convenience". Considering what is said above, we design and develop the hybrid intelligence operation control software of shaft furnace roasting process. The major contributions of this thesis are as follows.(1) Considering the technical index MTRR difficult to detect on line and assay strongly delayed, we established the hybrid prediction model which is made up of the master model and the compensation model.(2) The hybrid intelligence operation optimization control software of shaft furnace was developed in this paper. However, many shortcomings also exist in this software system, such as the poor transportability and reusability. In order to overcome this problem, we developed a novel optimal control software based on operation control software support platform which is exploited by the laboratory own. As the software has set aside specific interface for the algorithm module, the software users do not need to know about the concrete theory thoroughly and can maintain the control strategy as long as knowing of the function of the module. At the same time the software has been packed into installation package which is (?) quite convenience.(3) The hardware-in-the-loop simulation experimental platform of shaft furnace roasting process is been established in this thesis, which is made up of the shaft furnace virtual object, virtual detecting device and actuator, PLC controller, the monitoring system of shaft furnace roasting process and operation optimal control system. Result shows that the hybrid intelligence optimal control software can realize a satisfying control effect to maintain a higher efficiency.
