As an important resource in our country, coal is gradually expanding the scope ofits application, Mine ventilator Known as the “respiratory system of coal mine " isone of the important equipments to assure the safety production in coal mine. Onceunusually run, the ventilator will make lots of gas accumulate and explode, which willcause a heavy coal mine safety accident. This gives the miners’ life safety broughtgreat hidden trouble Therefore, in order to ensure the healthy development of coalindustry, it is important to monitor the ventilator in real-time and timely analyze thefailure forms so as to eliminate the malfunction in time.This paper is based on the actual situation of the coal mine production and aimsat the existing problems. First of all, through the analysis of the fan structure and faultform, this paper determines the measuring parameters and measurement methods ofthe monitoring and control system. Secondly, this paper introduces the sensorselection, layout optimization and working principle of the programmable controller.Finally, the monitoring and control system for coal mine ventilator has been designedby kingview6.55, which realized real time monitoring on operation parameters suchas ventilator vibration, motor temperature and so on. Besides, it also realizedabnormal data recording and alarming and other functions. The stored fault data canbe studied in the background database that is SQL Server2008database software.The subordinate computer is composed of PLC programmable controller, whichcompletes the monitoring signal collection, conversion, and communication with theprinciple computer. The principle computer is designed by the kingview software,whose role is to set the data displayed in the kingview interface, and set the relevantdata stored. It is convenient for enterprise to manage the operating data in the future.The principle computer communicates with the subordinate computer throughindustrial Ethernet based on TCP/IP protocol.The monitoring and control system has realized the automated management ofthe ventilator, ensuring the ventilator to operate steadily and reliably, providingsafeguard for coal mine safety production. The connection between Kingview anddatabase forms a complete PC management, which realizes the storage of thehistorical data. At the same time, by setting the network interconnection functions of kingview, it realize remote variable references within the local area network (LAN)to achieve a higher level of plant-level interconnection; It can access interface ofkingview through the browser to achieve the Web publishing and the goal of coalresource sharing.
