AFI type molecular sieve is a member of the family of inorganic microporous materialsimportant, since it has better performance and structure of diversification, the catalyticproperties and adsorption separation has a good application prospect. A large number ofstudies have shown that the size and morphology of the properties of the molecular sieves andmolecular sieve has a direct connection, at the same time directly affects its application effect.Microwave synthesis with fast heating, heating uniformity, narrow particle size distribution ofthe product, has the characteristics of phase selectivity, energy saving and environmentalprotection. The microwave synthesis is introduced into the research of inorganic microporouscompounds morphology study will play a role.In this paper under the condition of microwave radiation, successful AlPO4-5molecularsieve of different morphology is prepared. When microwave radiation condition of180℃,30min,800W, the synthesis of molecular sieves the highest purity, particle size uniformity isbest. HF has a great influence on the synthesis of molecular sieves morphology, the resultsshow that when the concentration of HF is very small, the product crystal to center aroundgrowth form spherical crystal, crystal growth is restrained, if smaller crystal size, morphologyof small ball. Changes in the system of ethylene glycol and water volume ratio, has a largeeffect on product morphology. With the decrease of the glycol content in the system, thecrystal growing, in the process of growing tip growth faster, ethylene glycol content isreduced to a certain degree, less sophisticated growth; continue to reduce the content ofethylene glycol, crystal length to diameter ratio increases. In addition, under the condition ofmicrowave radiation, successful synthesis of SAPO-5, CoAPO-5, FeAPO-5, MnAPO-5,CuAPO-5and MgAPO-5have been done. AFI type molecular sieve as catalyst in synthesiscarried out a series of photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange. By comparing theAlPO4-5molecular sieve, and replacing the AFI SAPO-5molecular sieve and metal type theabsorbance curve of molecular sieve, the AFI type molecular sieve adsorption performance ofthe reaction time and light catalytic performance. AFI type molecular sieve’s adsorptionperformance and molecular sieve and porous morphology have certain relations, state of aggregation crystal adsorption performance is better. In addition, the AFI and desorption ofphotocatalytic performance is associated with impurity atoms to replace, has no photocatalyticperformance AlPO4-5molecular sieve, MgAPO-5photocatalytic performance in synthesis ofmolecular sieves AFI type is the best in the molecular sieve,2hours of light degradation ratecan reach57%.
