The Process Of Huanyangchonglin And Their Chiral Selectivity

Neonicotinoid insecticides represented by imidacloprid has been the fastest growingclass of insecticides in modern crop protection due to their high potency, low mammaliantoxicity, and broad insecticidal spectra after the1990s， which act selectively on insectnicotinic acetylcholine receptors. However, significant increases in resistance and crossresistance wee observed in a range of species after frequent field applications. Therefore,the research on neonicotinoid insecticides has a practical important significance.Based on our previous study, the optimum conditions for the production technologyof huanyangchonglin were studied by orthogonal experiments design. When2-nitroiminoimidazolidine:epichlorohydrin:potassii is1:1:1.2, the highest yield is70%after3.5hours’ reaction at76℃. At the same time, we carry out the deep investigationsand studies on the other factors affecting the production of huanyangchonglin.In this study, huanyangchonglin is a neonicotinoid insecticide with chiral structure.Different configurations of huanyangchonglin were synthesized by a simple one-stepprocess from chiral available reagents. The structures of the target compounds werecharacterized by1HNMR. In order to determine the structures of different configurationsof huanyangchonglin, their single crystals were made and tested.(RS)-Cycloxaprinbelongs to triclinic system, group P-1, while (R)-Cycloxaprin and (S)-Cycloxaprinbelongs to monoclinic system, group P2(1).Bioactivities of the target compounds were studied by indoor insecticidal activitytest. The preliminary bioassay showed that all the compounds exhibited good insecticidalactivity against Brevicoryne brassicae linn with unconspicuous difference. The LC50value of (S)-huanyangchonglin was1.86mg/L, which was the best result.This study laid the foundation for the industrialization of huanyangchonglin.
