In order to solve the technical problems of small low-amplitude and medium sandstonereservoir exploitation of LD area in Ordos basin, this paper carries out the research of finestrata classification and correlation, sedimentary characteristics, reservoir characteristics andaccumulation characteristic, development characteristic and development technology, newtechnology and special craft exploration to the study area. The research shows that therequirement of establishing stratigraphic correlation framework of the study area can be metby fine strata classification and correlation; Y9formation of the study area can be divided intoY91and Y92+3, and Y8formation of the study area can be divided into Y81, Y82, Y83and Y84.The sedimentary microfacies of the study area include distributary channel of delta plain,natural levee and flood plain; the vertical thickness of the sand body is great and distributionrange of the sandbody is limited. The study of reservoir characteristics and accumulationcharacteristics shows that the lower limit of porosity of Y9formation of the study area is14%,and the lower limit of permeability is5×10-3μm2, and the upper limit of shale content is23.5%;the distribution of porosity and permeability has a good correlation. In view of the practicaltruth of the study area, three-dimension geological model is established by sequential indicatormethod; this discovers that the reservoir physical property is good along the direction of rivercenter, and to the side along the river, the physical property becomes worse gradually. In viewof the existing problem of small low-amplitude reservoir development, the study of waterflooding evaluation, such as the water breakthrough and response analysis, the formationpressure level analysis, driving force analysis, and so on, is carried on to the study area. Basedon the study of reservoir engineering, the study of reservoir numerical simulation is carried on;the results shows that keeping reasonable water injection intensity and rate not only canmaintain formation energy, but also can prevent the water cut rise of oil well; the reasonableinjection water quantity of the study area is40m3.According to the experience of low permeability oilfield development at home andabroad, advanced water injection, cyclic water flooding, polymer flooding, surfactant flooding,poly table2of asp flooding, adaptive composite displacement, the air foam flooding,microbial flooding and vibration displacement can be used to enhanced oil recovery.
