With the development of science and technology and the progress of the society, people’s increasing demands for health, traditional Chinese medicine has its unique advantage of more and more people are paying attention to. Chinese herbal medicine as the main material basis of our precious material wealth is not only the Chinese application development, and is an important supporting China’s foreign economic relations. Exceed the standard of heavy metal elements in Chinese traditional medicine not only affect the treatment effect, but also has become a major factor in traditional Chinese medicine export limited. The research literature on heavy metal content of traditional Chinese medicine in recent ten years were analyzed, summarized the use different determination methods of heavy metals, heavy metals on traditional Chinese medicine in many countries limit standard summary, heavy metal elements in Chinese traditional medicine and explore the distribution rule, the feasibility and guide Chinese herbal medicine in cultivation in Northern Tangshan through the distribution characteristics analysis of heavy metal content of medicinal materials; microwave digestion conditions of operation technique as a pre-processing method of traditional Chinese medicine sample; discusses the use of HG-ICP-AES technique analysis detection method of traditional Chinese medicine and five kinds of heavy metals. Based on the statistical analysis of literature found, because different scope makes the detection of heavy metal in different analysis application method in the production of differences; at the same time in different countries, regions of the content of heavy metals limited standards, control focus are different, then the same medicine samples of heavy metals in different standards exceed the standard of evaluation result will not be the same; Chinese medicinal herbs are the presence of heavy metals pollution in different degrees, and the heavy metal content due to the different kinds of medicine, of different origin, the same origin but different kinds, different growth conditions and have greater differences, combined with soil characteristics in Tangshan area to determine the mountains of northern Tangshan are suitable for planting cultivation on lead and mercury accumulation root cortex herbs of poor. Medicinal plants by microwave digestion technique, the heavy metal elements were determined by using HG-ICP-AES, this paper studies the reaction conditions, interference by hydride generation factors, eliminating measures are tested, to determine the reaction medium of hydrochloric acid, and hydrochloric acid as the signal strength of five kinds of elements of the maximum2.0mol·L-1, the optimal concentration of2%NaBH4of the reducing agent, oxidizing agent K3Fe (CN)6is the best concentration of2.5%, the most suitable concentration of sensitizer oxalic acid is6%, the carrier gas flow rate in0.6L was set to/min, coexisting ions in the sample solution because of the little content in determination of ignore this the influence on the results; in the determination conditions of five kinds of element copper arsenic lead cadmium mercury baicalin, Sophora flavescens, wind of three traditional Chinese medicines which were measured, results show that this method is fast and simple, high sensitivity, high recovery, high accuracy, small pollution and advantages of analyte loss and so on, can be used as a method in the production of medicinal plant heavy metal elements, rapid and direct determination of an efficient and feasible.
