This topic take No.45steel material as the research object, selecting the nickel based allo-y of low melting point, good self fluxing. study the application of laser cladding technologyin gear repair and laser cladding forming process.The basic experiment of the laser cladding forming method is done and the No.45steel iselected as the substrate. The single-channel cladding forming experiment is done first. Theinfluence of the process parameters act on the macro forming quality of cladding layer isanalyzed. The microstructure analysis and hardness test of the cladding layer are done, Basedon the analysis results, it can be found that the microstructure of the cladding layer has noobvious crack and pores and the white layer occurs in the combination area of cladding layerand substrate, the cladding layer and substrate achieved a better metallurgical bond. The micr-o hardness of cladding layer is higher than the substrate, so it can guarantee the performanceof the formed products. Then the Multichannel lap cladding forming experiment is done basedon the single channel cladding forming experiment. The optimal overlapping rate is determine–d based on this experiment. Based on the analysis results of microstructure analysis andhardness test, it can be found that, as there is secondary thermal effect of multi-channeloverlap cladding, the microstructure of the cladding layer is bigger and the micro hardness islower than the single-channel cladding layer.In the study on the laser cladding of gear, adopting reasonable scanning sequence anddivided tooth means.Combine with the optimal process parameters, Using KUKA programmi–n and path planning assisted software to design the reasonable scanning paths, finally usingmanual programming way to complete the laser cladding of gear. The gear after cladding hasno cracks and local accumulation, the gear can satisfy the requirement of use after practice.Research on the laser remanufacturing of the gear teeth, Using involute equation tomanufacture the tooth of involute gear. Using solidwork2010to layer and measure thethree-dimensional model. Using manual programming and off-line programming software toplan the scanning path, eventually complete the experiment about laser remanufacturing ofgear. The experimental results verify the correctness and rationality of programming, but theshape of tooth cladding out and ideal shape of tooth have some differences, need to study onthe laser process parameters and laser machining path.
