In recent years, with the rapid development of the oil industry and marineindustry, oil pipelines, shipbuilding and other special plates play a crucial role in thedevelopment of national economy, the market demand for oil pipelines, shipbuildingand other special steels are growing at the same time, the requirement for quality isgetting higher and higher, which means that the market puts forward higherrequirements on precision and performance of large-scale flat grinder. Therefore, thestudy on structural properties and optimization problems of large-scale flat guidewaygrinder is very important. This thesis takes large-scale flat guideway grinder asresearch object, first of all,3D CAD software SolidWorks and finite element analysissoftware ANSYS are used to establish three-dimensional finite element analysismodel of the large-scale flat guideway grinder machine and the main structures suchas portal-type girder, grinding wheel support shaft. At the same time, the main partssuch as portal-type girder, grinding wheel support shaft are analyzed by the finiteelement static analysis and modal analysis, then the deformation amount of staticdisplacement and variation of stress and strain are obtained, and ten naturalfrequencies and mode shapes of portal-type girder and grinding wheel support shaftare determined. Through the static analysis and modal analysis above, this paper laysthe foundation for the optimization and improvement of main structure of large-scaleflat guideway grinder. Secondly, the paper optimizes the design of the main parts ofgrinder, the structure of portal-type girder, then puts forward correspondingimprovement scheme, and makes a comparative analysis between pre-optimizedresults and optimized results, a conclusion is drawn that the stiffness and naturalfrequency of the main components are improved, which makes the frequency faraway from the resonance region, and the rationality and reliability are verified, thispaper has a certain guiding significance to improve the machining precision andperformance of grinder and it provides a theoretical basis for the future design ofsimilar machine tools.
