At present, there are many problems which include oil production decline; zone of high permeability has been watered out and low recoverable reserves of water-drive in the process of HuaQing oilfield block Yuan284exploitation. Air foam have profile modification and oil displacement effect. This technique is suitable for high water cut period of reservoir and heterogeneous reservoir.because air foam technique is in progress, it is necessary to study plugging effect and oil displacement efficiency of air foam and the influencing factors.Experiment select optimal foam system and study on rheology of air foam system. This paper utilizes the method of orthogonal experiment to study the relationship between plugging effect of foam and influencing factors.This paper obtains main controlling factors and secondary factors and obtains regression equation of the influencing factors and resistance factor. Through oil displacement experiment, this paper study on the relation of oil displacement efficiency with eight influencing factors.The result of experiment was as follows:The foam is power-law fluid and has characteristics of shear thinning; the apparent viscosity is increased with foam quality.The plugging effect of air foam is increased with the increasing of permeability, oil displacement efficiency is increased with permeability ratio.The plugging effect of air foam and oil displacement efficiency are increased with the increasing of pressure and with the decreasing of temperature and oil saturation; when injection rate is0.44m/d, the plugging effect of air foam becomes better.The orders of arrangement in accordance with influence degree to resistance factor are permeability, temperature, pressure, gas fluid ratio, injection flow.Air foam displacement should be used when water cut reached98%.Gas fluid ratio is2:1,injection volume is0.3PV,injection mode is water drive-Air foam-water drive.
