The most of small diameter hot-rolled ribbed bars which are supplied by disk-shaped must be straightened and cut. At present, most of research on steel-bar straightening is still in States research; including stress strain curvature energy consumption and straightening force, etc. Based on the calculating of straightening Parameters, the theory range of Parameters is obtained.This paper presents the method of calculating roller spacing and press amount of straightening roll. The research on two Parameters mainly is based on material mechanics and Elastic deformation theory. Press amount is calculated through the calculating of deflection and the relationship between before and after the roll; roller spacing is calculated from the biting condition and Contact strength analysis. The calculation results provide Evidence of establishment of virtual simulation model, on the basis of the derivation of digital function prototype and mechanical system kinematics simulation theory, and then introduced the theory of joint virtual simulation technology, this paper introduces the theory, of rigid-flexible dynamic simulation The Impose of Driver, Constrain and Contact is researched. It details the establishment of rigid-flexible virtual prototype, and the rigid-flexible virtual prototype of steel-bar straightening is carried out. The speed, acceleration and displacement of bar.are obtained.the distance of a series of point relative to end in Y direction is obtained,and so we get the straightness of bar after straightening. The GTS6/12bar straightening-cutting machine as an example carried on the experiment study respectively measurement of the straightness error elongation rate cut in the measurement. From the data of experiment, the roller spacing of straightening block and press amount is the key Parameters to influence straightness of bar, but, the speed of straitening and the cut length is the key Parameters to influence the error bar length.This paper builds steel-bar straightening. Virtual prototype through the method of combined theory calculating, virtual simulation with experiment, the range of Parameters is obtained by kinematics analysis, the relation of Parameters and Factors which influence the Bar Machining Quality. The research ideas can provide reference to design and research steel bar processing machinery and provide technical support construction method.
