Studies On Cost And Quality Of Corn Container Transport

In this paper we measured the situation of several container groups of corns sendfrom Jinzhou port to Zhaoqing port during February2013to June2013, the moisture,impurity content, A.V, temperature of the arrival day was included. The efforts offactors in different standard to A.V were analyzed, the data analyze software was usedfor calculating the relationship between moisture, impurity content, averagetemperature and A.V, the result was: the impurity content and net weight per eachcontainer showed normal distribute, the regression equation wasY=6.431I-0.458M+1.049T+1.397X where Y was A.V, I was impurity content, Mwas moisture, T was average temperature, X was transport time.The correlation between A.V and moisture was weak and negative, and thesignificant was normal，the correlation between A.V and impurity content was weakand positive, the significant was normal, so did the A.V and the temperature. Thecorrelation between A.V and transport time was strong and positive, and verysignificant. It means the transport time suffer A.V of corn a lot.In storage micro-environment with13.5RH,25℃, with the extension of storagetime, MDA value, fatty acid value, conductivity rising, and germination rate, viabilitydeclined. After the micro-environment storage of nine months, germination rate fell10percent, fatty acid value increase12.6mgKOH/100g. MDA values increased3.09μmol/g, an increase of7.8conductivity value, viability value dropped by20.This five indicators and corn storage time showed a highly significant correlation.Correlation coefficients were0.938,0.959,0.962,-0.878,-0.961.The cost of corn container transport from Jinzhou port to Zhaoqing port from thefollowing4parts: first, the acquisition cost of corn, depending on the time of theacquisition into1760RMB/t and1,820RMB/t; second, the costs of marinetransportation, depending on the transit time the cost was3600RMB/container, or3400RMB/container; third, the cost of treatment of high moisture corn, these costswere variation from the difference of treatment, not specific calculation; fourth, the cost of sharp deterioration of storage quality, according to the difference of transportcost and corn acquisition, it usually cost more than100RMB/t...
