With the rapid development of our economy, the demand for coal are getting more and more serious. And the coal mining to the limit by many conditions, including groundwater is threatening the important factors of coal mine safety in production. Therefore, according to the actual situation of the coal mine underground drainage, and designed a kind of W78E58based on single chip microcomputer as the core of the communication controller in monitoring and prediction system, this system mainly by the underground terminal equipment and PC monitoring center of the composition, and can completely underground water flow monitoring and display. PC and terminal equipment with serial communication with the monitoring center of the mine to realize data transfer.Through computer simulation test, the system is simple, and to reduce the staff labor intensity, improve the working efficiency; Communication costs low, may save the single-chip microcomputer I/O resources, has the characteristics of high voltage electricity to control; And high reliability, stable operation, and has a strong engineering application value.This paper first analyzes the research status of the underground water at home and abroad, and in the field, the mining area completed the system hardware design and software rendering Protel99SE circuit principle diagram. To realize the underground water flow of collection and preservation, will the collected data in a serial communication way to send the main control room, the computer.Secondly, because of artificial neural network in coal mine water used more widely in the forecast, using BP neural network theory, combined with MATLAB toolbox to mine the neural network, the hydrologic information monitoring data, prediction and predict according to the comparison of, that the BP neural network algorithm has very good application value. Finally, the part of the system software gives a detailed introduction, PC program design and man-machine interface all use Delphi7.A machine under control by the assembly language. And through the software testing and debugging, finally obtained good results.Paper has a strong design specific aim, even if in the environment is bad place, also can achieve a good result for coal mine safety in production, the next work to provide the basis.
