There are few oil and a lot of coal in our country, every year the demand for coal keep increasing the standard.certain professional mining equipment are also moving toward large-scale trends, while the equipment may malfunction in the extremely working environment for its large volume and great mass. Therefore, analysis of the dynamic characteristics, stability and optimization of the large equipment is of great importance. The paper takes the self-mobile crusher as an example for analysis.Based on the mechanical analysis and finite element method.we can get some basic structural parameters, according to the dynamic analysis of the self-mobile crusher. And we can also achieve the unity of the economy and safety, applying the3D modeling software SOLID WORDS in combination with ANSYS software to make a finite element analysis for the system on the base of the analysis of structural mechanics. The main content of the paper are listed as follows:(1) Self-mobile crusher’s static strength analysis of the steel structure. Through stress analysis of steel structure of the whole machine, the boundary conditions are obtained, and their static strength analysis are made;(2) Self-mobile crusher’s optimal design of steel structures. After static strength analysis of the steel structure, we can know that the whole machine’s steel structure belongs to the over strength design. So the optimal design is essential. Topology optimization is carried out on the steel structure, firstly, and then based on this, the structure optimization is made, and the optimal model for steel structure is obtained.(3) Self-mobile crusher’s dynamic characteristics analysis of steel structure. Through the self-mobile crusher’s modal analysis of steel structure by using finite element method, each natural frequency order and vibration model is obtained, and so is the whole machine.(4) Self-mobile crusher’s stability analysis of steel structure. Considering self-mobile crusher’s actual working environment and possible working conditions, the hardness of the ground, the various corners of crusher discharge arm and the partial load situations are analyzed. Through simulating the actual working conditions of self-mobile crusher, its stability is predicted;(5) The whole machine’s wind load analysis of steel structure. Through the research on the theory of natural wind, fluctuating wind has the greatest impact on equipment steel. In this paper, using Matlab to simulate the natural fluctuating wind, the load getting close to natural pulsating wind is obtained, and applied on the model in the ansys, Simulation model state under fluctuating wind load is got.
