With the increasingly severe environmental pollution, much attention has put on the protection of environment. Photo catalytic method of water treatment technology has attracted much attention in recent years, different with the old water treatment principles, Photo catalytic method can contaminant into in noxious substance, which has higher efficiency in sewage treatment Nano titanium dioxide is the most common one, With small particle diameter, The disadvantages such as difficult reclaim, the aggregation in sewage treatment restricts its industrialized development.In this paper, TiO2/diatomite photocatalys are prepared by micro emulsion method and PTA method and tested by methyl orange’ catalysis to judge catalytic efficiency and the water reuse rate.First we used micro emulsion method to prepare TiO2/diatomite photocatalys. The optimum process conditions:ammonia0.5mL, Titanium tetrabutaoxide4mL, TiO2capacity66.67%, calcination temperature550℃, calcination time3h. In ultraviolet radiation, the number of repetition times of the best TiO2/diatomite photocatalys is27with catalytic efficiency over80%.Second we used PTA method to prepare TiO2/diatomite photocatalys. The optimum process conditions:30%H2O210mL, Titaium tetrabutaoxide4mL, TiO2capacity66.67%, calcination temperature500℃, calcination time3h. In ultraviolet radiation, the number of repetition times of the best TiO2/diatomite photocatalys is16with catalytic efficiency over80%.
