In the design of women’s apparel, the floral decoration is one of common forms. Since ancient times, domestic garment works as we have accumulated a lot of floral decoration modeling material, but relatively few women in the study of floral shapes. This paper focuses on the women in floral design and systematically analyzes the characteristics of women’s floral design, design principles, design techniques, creative expression and so on. This paper attempts to reflect the characteristics of Chinese culture with floral design. Study and explore how to blend Chinese traditional culture and floral design.Through literature and practical method to understand the domestic side floral shapes in various fields, and summary floral shape craft techniques, master floral shape craft techniques. The first part discusses the purpose, significance and status research of floriation modeling. The second part describes the characteristics and design principles of women’s floral shape, through case studies:how to use and follow the shape of floral design principles. The third part describes the shape of women’s floral design techniques. Be analyzed from the floral form design, craft techniques and materials performance, and describes the different styles of women’s floral shape through different design techniques to performance. The fourth part is the creative expression of women’s floral shape. This chapter describes the floral styling and fashion design, garment construction, forms of relationships, comprehensive exposition of the creative floral design and application modeling. The fifth part describes a combination of Chinese traditional culture and women’s floral shape, reflecting the floral style with Chinese characteristics costumes.As a visual expression of its unique beauty, floriation modeling is the costume design an integral part of the development process.
