The color enhanced polystyrene structural color films were designed and synthetized in different ways in this thsis. Black dye was introduced by the auxiliary means of ultrasound in order to achieve the absorption of the stray light and background light. The color enhanced polystyrene structural color films were prepared by self-assembly.The polystyrene microsphere emulsion was prepared using traditional emulsion polymerization method and mixed with a water-soluble black dye. The influence of dyes contents and assembly environment to polystyrene structure color was researched. The sample was analysed by scanning electronic microscopy, laser particle size, reflectance spectroscopy analyzer. The result showed that the emusion particles had uniform diameter (PDI less than0.1)which ranged from200nm to300nm. When the contents of water-soluble black dye weight were1%, the hight of reflectance peak increased more than3times. The polystyrene color films(BPSCFs) exhibited bright color.Three kinds of red, yellow and blue anthraquinone dyes were designed and synthesized.After separation and purification, the pure dyes were obtained which could be verified by MS, H-NMR. In order to get black dyes,three kinds of dyes were dissolved and mixed under the instruction of UV absorption spectroscopy.Black dye-doped microspheres were obtained when the mixed dyes were added during the emusion polymerization process.Then the dye-doped polystyrene structure color films were fabricated by self-assembly. The microstructure, size distribution, reflection property and intuitive morphology were characterized by SEM, TEM, autosizer, reflection spectroscopy and digital camera.The results showed that the microspheres had uniform diameter between200nm and300nm. TEM indicated that dyes were contained in particles.When the contents of dyes weight were2%and the assembly temperature was50℃, the dye-doped structure color improved the hight of reflectance peak more than one time.
