Research On The Method Of Shape Control On Hot Strip Mill

This paper is based on the production line of Ansteel2150mm Hot Strip Mill to invest in the construction as the research background, and the shape control as the object of study, in this paper we finished the designing of shape controlling, shape operation, system hardware designing and its debugging as well as other designing documents. The whole system has been running steadily for nearly eight years since it put into operation on Dec.2,2005. The shape mathematic model and integrated control has been improved with the improvement of the equipment and mathematic model.Based on the design of ASP1700mm,1780mm shape control, Ansteel2150mm hot rolling production line of shape control was designed. A number of problems of ASP1700mm,1780mm shape control are improved to make better the control accuracy in the Ansteel2150mm line. After observation, analysis, debugging perfect, shape control has achieved relatively satisfactory control effect, the shape control has been more accuracy and stability. Now the2150mm line type precision index is in the leading position in domestic.This thesis developed an integrated control suitable for hot rolling strip, and its application in2150mm line, the specific contents are as follows:(1) Through literature, master the development of worldwide hot rolling shape control system, digestion and absorption of ASP1700mm,1780mm hot rolling line of mathematic model and control method.(2) Formulate the control description and the operation description for the shape equipment and technological requirements of Ansteel2150mm hot strip mill project through comprehensive analysis and evaluation.(3) Completed the system hardware design, the control task is distributed to the PLC and the POWER PC and finished the program design and the debugging.(4) According to the characteristics of different specification steel strip, develop the mathematic model and control method to displace the traditional control method, the accuracy and stability of shape control are improved obviously.
