Health and environmental issues have become the focus of attention. So, how to achieve the accurate detection of harmful substances in the environment is critical to protect the environment and maintain human health. In recent years, fluorescent probes have been widely applied to the fields of environment detection, bio-imaging and medical diagnostics due to its low cost, simple operation, real-time detection.Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), a toxic hazardous gases, is not only hazardous for human health, but also steel-corrosive. So, H2S present a big risk on the safe operation of the oil and petrochemical equipments. However, as an important neurotransmitter in vivo, H2S play roles in many physiological processes. So, the detection of hydrogen sulfide or sulfide concentration in an efficient, economical, fast and accurate way is of great significance in water pollution control, environmental protection and other fields of life sciences. In this paper, we synthesized a specific fluorescent probe I-H2S, which can selectively detect hydrogen sulfide in aqueous solution with the near-infrared absorption and emission. The absorption wavelength of the probe is631nm, emission wavelength is709nm. I-H2S showed a fast response to hydrogen sulfide accompanied by a reduced absorption intensity and visible color change of the solution and reached the equilibrium within30s. I-H2S showed good selectivity and sensitivity and the detection limits of the absorption ratio and fluorescent intensity were5.96×10-6M and7.27×10-6M, respectively.Copper contamination can not only affect the growth of animals and plants, the activity of the soil microbial enzyme, disrupting the balance of ecosystems, but also accumulate and increase the toxicity of copper in organisms, resulting in pernicious effect on the body health. Therefore, the detection of copper ion in environment is significant. In this paper, we synthesized a probe R-Cu which detected copper ion in pure water. Recognition process was fast and reached the equilibrium within5minutes, accompanied the solution color change from colorless to pink. Probe R-Cu has a good sensitivity and the minimum detection limit in aqueous phase is2.7×10-7M.
