| Wetland is one of the global main ecosystems together with forest and ocean. Coastal wetland includes coastal areas, islands within wetland and water areas with water table depth under6metres during low tide. Wetland ecosystem, located between sea and land, has some special ecological functions, which affects human survival and development. People have paid more attention to coastal wetlands since China joined in the international "Wetland Convention" in1992. However, there is still not perfect theory, policy and project on protection and management of wetland. The protection and management of coastal wetlands is getting more important when constructing beautiful China is raised in the18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.In this thesis, we illuminated the development and current status, the problems under the background of the construction of ecological civilization; evaluated the protection and management of coastal wetlands in Liaohe river delt; and accordingly brought forward management pattern and operating mechanism. Firstly, we understood the domestic current status and successful experience, and international operating mechanism and organization pattern on coastal wetlands according to documents. Secondly, we knew the actual situation of protection and development of coastal wetlands in Liaohe river delta based on investigation and interview. The main problems were found and analyzed in the thesis. Our results provide the resolving measures and management methods for these problems, and explore new ways for protection and management mode of coastal wetlands, compensation mechanism of ecological benefits, and performance evaluation mechanism.We expect to further innovate the protection and management patterns of coastal wetlands, to construct harmonious relationship between human and nature, to improve the protection and management effects of coastal wetlands. The results provide the valuable reference for the protection and management of coastal wetlands. |
