FPSO is the abbreviation of Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading unit. The vessel consists of production separator equipment, water injection equipment, public facilities and living quarter installation on the vessel. It has the function of curde oil storage and loading/offloading. The mixed fluid from well is transferred through a subsea pipeline to a riser, and though the manifold to the FPSO. FPSO has process facilities; the mixed fluid will be separated to achieve the specification of curde-oil, natural gas and produced water. Curde-oil will be transferred by the shuttle tanker.According to the natural environmental of a special project, this thesis has developed the topside of the module production process for FPSO, The main achievements and conclusions are given as follows:(1) The purpose of this thesis is to design the process topsides modules of FPSO, which can meet the depends on the deep sea’s condition.(2) Equipment design and process flows are given in this document. The system consist of crude oil processing, produced water processing and gas processing. Crude oil processing is made of1st stage separator,2nd stage separator and test separator. Produced water processing is made of hydrocyclone, CFU and degasser. Gas processing is made of LP compressor,1st HP compressor,2nd HP compressor and3rd HP compressor.(3) The thesis presents a dynamic simulation of the maximum oil production month by using Hysys. The experiment results show that the design scheme is feasible. The performance of the crude oil processing, the produced water processing and gas processing is excellent.
