For preparation of high temperature resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance of the centralizer, the PPS blending PAI is used as composite material of resin in this study, which could be both good processing properties of PPS, relatively low prices with excellent impact resistance characteristics of PAI, friction resistance, etc.According to the mechanics properties and friction and wear of PPS/PAI, First of all, the best blending ratio was chosen. Secondly, in order to further reduce the cost and get better performance, the CF, GF, graphite modified mechanical properties and friction and wear of blend were studied in this experiment. The friction and wear performance of PPS/PAI/CF/graphite composite material was Finally compared with the PPS/PAI/GF/graphite. The research results are as follows:(1) The tensile strength and impact strength of PPS/PAI generally increased with the increase of PAI content showed a trend of rising, and the friction and wear as the content of PPS reduce. And thermal weightlessness tests showed the blend heat-resisting performance was not fall.(2) With the increase of graphite content, the mechanical properties of PPS/PAI/graphite composites showed a trend of decline, and Friction coefficient was dropping, but the wear was rising gradually.(3) The impact strength of PPS/PAI/CF composites and tensile properties were increased with the increase of CF content, then lowered. Friction coefficient dropped with the increase of CF content, then it increased Slightly after reach the minimum, wear drops significantly with the increase of CF content.(4)The addition of GF could effectively enhanced the tensile strength of the blend and the impact strength, but the mechanical properties of blend which was filled too much GF drops. Wear dropped with the increase of GF content, then it increased after reach the minimum, and the friction coefficient basically remain unchanged.(5) The PPS/PAI/GF composite material of friction and wear reduced because of synergy between graphite and GF. the addition of graphite on the PPS/PAI/CF composites has slight affect on the friction coefficient, wear of blend which is filled too much CF drops obviously, the5%content of graphite were beneficial to reduce the cost.
