Cephalosporin C(CPC), P-lactam antibiotic, is one of the most important antibiotics in the world and its ratio in antibiotics market is arising year by year. So the study of Cephalosporin C is very important for the Cephalosporin C product. In this study, we selected the mutation strain with high productivity by UV-mutation and resistance screening from Cephalosporium acremonium Z101/18as original strain. And then the fermentation process of Cephalosporin C were studied, the result as follows:1. Using the screening method of reasoning breeding, bred a highyielding strains ZN051cephalosporin C production than the original strain increased19.9%after a round tray antibacterial experiments screening verification.2. The effects of the inorganic nitrogen source, methionine, C/N ratio of the biological synthesis of cephalosporin. Effects of the seed bottles inoculation time, inoculation amount fermenting bottles of dissolved oxygen, fermentation temperature, feeding process cephalosporin C fermentation units. Through the optimization of the fermentation process, the fermentation of cephalosporin C21.601g/L,8%higher than Z101-124strains of cephalosporin C titer.3. The effects of several different concentrations of the medium during the culture, the total sugar concentration the lactose concentration, phosphate concentration, ammonia concentration, dry biomass and product CPC concentration of the different periods changes.4. By50m3fermentation pot, the breeding batch fermentation process of Cephalosporin C were ameliorated and optimized, and were succeed, the fermentation index of Cephalosporin C was increased21%in compare with the original strain.
