Crushing roller, the key component of the roll crusher, is easily worn, due to the friction force and impact and abrasive through materials. The crushing effect is influenced to be broken down for repairing or replacing the rollers when the roller is worn to a certain extent. For large roll crusher, the device should be repaired to restore function to save equipment costs. In this paper, plasma spraying repairing on Φ1200×1000worn roll crusher is for the study, the roll surface wear condition is analyzed, a set of online repair process is built, and roll surface repair device and its CNC system are designed which based on plasma spraying technique. The CNC system and related technical methods are the emphasis.On the basis of comprehensive analysis on the roll surface wear condition, plasma spraying technique is used for large crushing roller to design an online repair process which can measure the amount of wear and repair at the same time. During the repair process, keeping crushing roller stationary, the measuring head and spray gun of the repair device reciprocally motion in parallel along the roll surface through partition and lane times on the set trajectory to achieve measure and repair at the same time. And depending on the process requirement, the homologous CNC repair device is designed.Analysis of the repair process and its apparatus for the CNC system requirement, laser displacement sensors is used to measure the amount of wear on-line, PLC control standard plasma spray assembly is selected as the spraying component. Master-slave controller for CNC repair device is designed which consists of ARM (M3C2440) master controller and DSP (MCX314As) motion controller. DSP corresponds with plasma spraying component via universal I/O port, the hardware system of repair device is constituted; Selecting μClinux and Qt4.5as the operating system and GUI development system of ARM, operating system and GUI system are configured and ported, system environment is constructed; The crushing roller plasma spraying repair CNC system is compiled based on the environment, it includes a wear measurement data point cloud data processing, motion control, code translator-editor and the user interface subsystem functional subsystems.Integrating the CNC software and hardware of repair mechanical device, the system debug is done. The result of this study indicates that system almost satisfies the online repair process requirement of real-time measurement of the amount of wear and maximum coat of the repair per pass of spray gun. The maximum coat of the spraying gun is0.38mm, for the measurement point with the amount of wear no more than the maximum coat, repairing with employing single pass and current movement speed of spray gun. For the amount of wear is greater than the measuring points per pass maximum repair coat of0.38mm, repairing with multi-pass spray and each pass corresponding movement speed. In order to improve the accuracy of the wear measurement, the project which measurements three times and the rules that rejects abnormal wear values is studied.
