Study On Application Of Domestic Pressure Filters To PTA Production

With the development of industry, the scale of production is becoming much bigger, themarket competition is intensifying, reducing the cost to grab market share becomes theeffective way for many manufacturers. The successful trial of Filter press in the PTA industrymakes it possible for many manufacturers to change and obtain considerable benefits.Compared with the traditional pressure Centrifugal separation, pressure filter has advantagesin some way, such as: small investment, small device process changes, low operation failurerate and large elasticity of operation, it’s a great improvement in traditional separationtechnology.This article mainly analyzes the effect of PTA plant after the technical transformation, theprocess control, energy consumption; equipment failure rate, product quality, processing loss;workers labor intensity and other aspects are evaluated. In view of the various performanceindicators, the selection of the pressure filter can meet our actual requirements, and is superiorto the former pressure Centrifuge technology.According to the needs of production, the domestic press filter process was conducted aseries of optimization, in order to achieve optimization of operation parameters and thepurpose of further reducing the energy consumption of the device. Through the optimization,energy consumption of the device is further reduced, mainly reflected on the reduction ofdeionizer water consumption. In order to reduce the consumption, we first divide it into threesteps to optimize, in the cases of different spraying water, track and detect the quality of ourproducts for72hours, then the results show that when the spraying water is at10t/h, thechange of refined quality is not significant, the quality of products meet the classy article. Onthis basis, we adjust the quantity of deionizer water and shut down the water heater throughprocess optimization, reducing the consumption of water and0.43MPa steam.Based on the research of the pressure filter technique localization and processoptimization, we can find it has considerable economic and social benefits and should beutilized widely.
