Invertible filter centrifuge is a new type of filter centrifuge. It has various advantages such as low materials loss, high purity, good washing effect, little excess moisture.Especially suitable for the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, it has a wide use in the chemical, pharmaceutical,food and other industries.A new type of invertible filter centrifuge was designed, calculated and checked on the basis of a patent in this paper. Structure stress intensity analyses were made to the important rotate components of the centrifuge in order to see whether they meet the requirements or not, while study on the vibration character was made to the transmission shaft.Drum, drum lid, join column, outer and inner shafts,screw, electric motor and V belt are among the list of the structure design. Finite element static analyses on the drum and drum lid of the centrifuge are present in this paper. 3-D finite element modals of the outer rotor and the inner rotor of the invertible filter centrifuge were established by beam elements separately. The modal analyses were performed, results of which compared with the calculation results of the transfer matrix method. The results of the two calculation methods were equal to each other, which verified the reliability of the ANSYS analysis method. The modals of the outer rotor and the inner rotor were connected by the combine elements, and the modal analysis results demonstrate that, the working speed of the machine is far less than the first-order critical speed, and the sympathetic vibration will not happen to the machine in normal speed.
