In recent years, with the development of science and technology, all kinds of oil productsconstantly updated, greatly improve the automation level of the oil pipeline, oil pipeline leakdetection application environment has been mature. The requirements of pipeline leakdetection technology is becoming more and more high, how to find more sensitive and moreaccurate positioning of the leak position detection technology, how to the comprehensiveapplication of automatic control system, how to innovate a variety of detection means andmethods, fully automatic detection to the realization of ultimate oil pipeline transportation, hasbecome the focus of oil pipeline testing workers. Theoretical research and practical applicationof oil pipeline leak detection is constantly update and development.In this paper, according to the basic principle of negative pressure wave method to detectpipeline leakage, affecting the pipeline leak detection point precise positioning of the technicalissues, analysis of several factors affecting pipeline leak detection precision positioning. Inaddition, several key problems in view of the negative pressure wave leak detection, andpropose solutions, and analyze the external factors such as noise, temperature on the influenceof negative pressure wave speed, research when pipeline leakage intensity of negative pressurewave velocity of propagation law.Combining the practical application in the project of oil pipeline leak detection system’soverall structure, hardware and software, analyze the realization method of online leakdetection for refiningYanlian-xi ’an pipeline project, design a set of reasonable oil pipelineleak detection system, analysis the function of SCADA control system in pipeline leakdetection.
