Because there is not mass and serial monitoring of heavy metal discharge about electroplating industry in our country, the discharge of heavy metal has not been fully ascertained, and the accounting technology of total discharge of heavy metal has no uniform standard, its pollutants generation and discharge coefficient is also basic blank. So this paper examples Shenzhen and divides the heavy metal’s coefficients of copper、chromium、nickel、zinc by the method of combination of the four same kinds. And the paper checks and accounts the coefficients according to historical monitoring data in2007~2012,60survey dates in electroplating enterprises,3field measurement dates, which can perfect the coefficients of heavy metal and have a norm for accounting technology methods in electroplating enterprises.The paper introduces the current status of the coefficients at home and abroad and the current status of electroplating industry at home. Then it makes an analysis of the discharge change and characteristics of heavy metal pollutants and governance in electroplating industry. In addition, it puts forward corresponding countermeasures. According to the research on the accounting technology methods for total discharge of heavy metal in electroplating industry, we can builds a system of accounting technology for total discharge of heavy metal, which the pollutant generation and discharge coefficient is the major part. What’s more, it verifies the system’s reliability through the data of pilot enterprises.According to references and relevant data of electroplating enterprises, divides strictly the combination of the four same kinds of copper, chromium, nickel and zinc, and gets22combinations of the four same kinds. In addition, we can calculate every pollutant generation and discharge coefficient of158combinations of the four same kinds through60survey data of electroplating enterprises in Shenzhen. This paper chooses three representative electroplating enterprises as field measurement, and gets the measured data to calculate pollutant generation and discharge as the standard, which compares with the method of the coefficient and material balance calculation method. The results show that method of the coefficient has a relatively small error, which is within30%; While the method of material balance calculation has a large fluctuation, which is within3.58~88.85%. So the accounting technology method gives priority to the method of the coefficient, the field measurement method as a means for validation. This paper takes two electroplating enterprises of Shenzhen as pilot enterprises, and calculates their pollutant generation and discharge by the method of pollutant generation and discharge coefficient, which successfully verifies the reliability and availability of the method of the coefficient, and illustrates the scientificity and rationality of the system. It is practical significance for perfecting the handbook of the coefficient to determine pollutant generation and discharge coefficients of heavy metal in electroplating industry.
