The research on the accounting for the coefficients of the pollutantgeneration and discharge in ferrous metal mining and separating industry inChina aims to supply scientific, objective and reliable pollutant generationand discharge coefficients for mine enterprises to confirm the heavy metalpollution degree. Based on the theory, the sample enterprises and massiveresearch materials including historical measured data and field measurementdata, this paper presents the method of “combination of the four same kinds”in the division of the coefficient of the pollutant generation and discharge, andthe weighted average method in accounting of the coefficients.In addition,the paper has fully proved the reliability and accuracy of the data by usingmaterial balance calculation method,and carried out the research under thistechnology.The paper first expatiates the current status of the research at home andabroad in the ferrous metal mining and separating industry,then makes ananalysis of the mining and processing technique, the emission characteristicsof pollutants, and governance. In addition, it studies the accountingcoefficients of the pollutant generation and discharge. At last, an introductionof the pollutant generation and discharge coefficients accounting method hasbeen made. The study and application of the accounting of the pollutantgeneration and discharge coefficients are the major parts in the paper.Through collection of the historical measured data and field measurementdata on114enterprises in China’s ferrous metals mining and separatingindustry, analysis and calculation of the test data as well as the reliabilitydemonstration, we obtain a large number of pollutant generation anddischarge coefficients. The total number of the original historical coefficientsis879; the calculated individual emission coefficients is303. Taking ferrousand manganese mining and separating industry for example, the paper expatiates the method of the coefficient table of the pollutant generation anddischarge, demonstrates that the collection and analysis of the data isscientific and reasonable. The ferrous mining and separating industry codenumber is0810. The manganese mining and separating industry code is0890.The research results provide important technical support for the determinationof the coefficient of the pollutant generation and discharge. Meanwhile thedetermination of the pollutant generation and discharge coefficients in China’sblack metal mining and separating industry provides essential data for theenvironmental protection and scientific research, which.has practical guidingsignificance.
