The fast, accurate and electronic jamming characteristics of laser made it widely to be used in a variety of fields, such as accuracy control, guidance, probe, interference, breakage and blinding. To protect human eyes, body and electronic devices from destroy of laser weapons and instruments, the development of laser pretection and laser stealth technology have attracted more and more attention. Silk is not only used for the production of clothing, but also used in various biomedical fields because of its excellent mechanical, optical properties, biocompatibility, biodegradability and performance of implants. Nowadays, many research work are focused on functionalization of fibers under no influence of original performance.Based on the development of laser protection materials both at home and abroad and first-phase work foundation of our group, in the dissertation, three types of nonlinear optical reactive dyes were designed and synthesis, which contain nonlinear optical group and reactive dyes unit and can covalent bond with silk fiber. This stragy not only solve the problem of processing of small molecules, but also increased the scope of application of silk fiber. The prepared nonlinear optical functional silk fibers can be used in optical limiting field. The main contents of this dissertation consist of the following points:1. The development of nonlinear optical materials and functional silk materials were systematically reviewed. The principle of reactive dyes was introduced..2. Using azo compounds as nonlinear chormophore, sulfonic acid group as water soluble unit, imido group as linked bridge and chlorotriazine as reactive active group, Three types of unsymmetrical nonlinear functional reactive active dyes were designed and synthesized. Their structures were characterized by FT-IR,1H NMR spectra and element analysis.3. The UV-Vis absorption spectra and Z-scan technology were utilized to investigate the linear and nonlinear optical properties of reactive dyes and intermediate molecules. The relationships between the molecular structure and material properties were in-depth studied. The results displayed that the introduction of nitro-group can effectively increase the nonlinear coefficient of molecules.4. Nonlinear optical functional silk fibers were prepared by chemical modification of silk fibers suing nonlinear optical functional active dyes. The dyeing and mechanical properties, UV-Vis absorption spectra and thermal properties of functional silk fibers were systemly investigated. The results display that the dyes molecules were chemical bonding to silk fibers. And after dyeing, the thermal properties were enhanced owing to increase of β-conformation of silk fiber.
