Traditional rubber injection mold is hot runner system, in the runners and thecavities,the material is vulcanized and removed from the runners and cavities as thewaste material after injecting. When the rubber is particularly expensive, such asfluorinated polyester rubber,the cost is high. With the development of the cold runner, itcan obviously reduce the waste of the rubber, improves the quality of products, cuts costs,enhances automation and the production efficiency and the companies competition.Plastic injects at high temperature and cools at low temperature. However rubber isthermosetting, rubber injects at low temperature and is heated vulcanization in the mold.Along with the development of rubber industry, rubber products need to improve, how toachieve high quality, high efficiency, low energy consumption, so we need to furtherstudy.The article makes the tank of car engine as an example to research as following:1.Selecting the gates location of the product by CAE technology, the gates locationfor product are made preliminary analysis, and then according to the results in the bestgate location field, select different gate location for filling, solve the problem of the gates’optimization. According to the theory of plastic flow of the rheology in the process offilling balance, the gating system model is established.2.The injection molding process optimization is based on the moldflowsoftware.Through the process of the filling time, the volume of the curing rate, the end ofthe filling of the volume of the curing rate, the over all temperature of the wall shearstress analysis.3. Based on Fluent software for rubber injection mold temperature field analysis ofcold runner to make an orthogonal experiment, by controlling the temperature of thecontrolling circuit to control the temperature of the runner, keeping good liquidity and notbe vulcanized. 4. Designing the3D pictures by the UG for products and mold.
