The subject is aimed at effectively developing coalbed methane with low cost, based onthe existing drilling rig, applied with new design, new technology, on account of the lackingof the special drilling rig used for coalbed methane exploration in the domestic market, andthe difficulty to adapt to the requirement of high portability and low cost of drilling rig in thecoalbed methane exploration, to conduct the research of drilling equipment suitable to thecharacteristics of domestic coalbed methane exploration, to improve the applicable scopeand working efficiency of drilling rig, to reduce the drill-in cost, to minimize reactive powerloss of the power unit, to promote the rapidity of drilling rig installation and movement, todevelop coalbed methane truck-mounted special drilling rig, to reduce drilling cost andimprove working efficiency. The derrick is an important part of truck-mounted drilling rig,which is used to place crown block, travelling block, hook, etc. hoisting equipment and tools,to bear the load arising from the trip-in/out, running casing and other operations, to providethe height and space for trip-in/out and store tubular column, and also a kind of mast typesteel structure. The design of the derrick is gradually becoming mature along with the rapiddevelopment of truck-mounted drilling rig, which is playing an important role in theinternational drilling equipment market competition. The derrick is regarded as an importantpart of truck-mounted drilling rig, the research subject will achieve certain results in theaspect of technical research on the coalbed methane special drilling rig, and providenecessary technical reserve for the future technical research on the derrick products ofcoalbed methane serial truck-mounted drilling rig. Therefore, it has preferable research value.In terms of the research method of performance benchmark having caught attention from theengineering field, adopting the design method of performance benchmark in the design ofthe derrick of truck-mounted coalbed methane drilling rig can be contributed to optimize thederrick structure, improve the derrick’s performance, avoid slanting risk, and at the sametime, promote the technical development of the liquid-gas circuit on the derrick. This articleelaborates the comparison between the design method of based performance benchmarkderrick and the normal derrick design method, in view of the characteristics of the derrick ofcoalbed methane drilling rig, including compact structure, high automation, fast and easyinstallation, firm and reliable connection, etc. design the derrick structure that can satisfyperformance requirements. The rated hook loads of MC90truck-mounted coalbed methane drilling rig and XJ90drilling rig are90tons. Firstly, we analyze the technical characteristicsand finite element analysis of the derrick of XJ90drilling rig, then analyze the design of thederrick of MC90truck-mounted drilling rig. Build3D modeling for MC90truck-mountedcoalbed methane drilling rig. Based on the finite element analysis, adopts non-linear finiteelement analysis and by means of America large-scale engineering auxiliary analysissoftware ANSYS, to conduct mechanical analysis on the derrick for analyzing the effect ofthe deformation and stress value on the structure, and optimize the derrick structure. Thederrick’s integral design technology: integrally design derrick, hanging system and top driveequipment, optimize system structure, and give full play to all parts performance of thedrilling rig.
