It is used to placing thecrown block, suspension travelling block and top drive system, hook, swivel, and providesupport for stand pipe, cement pipe and other equipments, as well as storage drill pipes,bear the hook load.This thesis based on the requirements of jack-up drilling rig derrick,according to API Spec4F-3rd 《Specification for Drilling and Well Servicing Structures》and ABS-CDS (2011)《Guide for the Classification of Drilling Systems》 and theABS-MODU《Rules for Building and Classing-Mobile Offshore Drilling Units》, integratedthe work condition of equipments and the effect of ocean environment, analyse the variousloads, list the combination of different load conditions, establish derrick load data analysismodel. According to the derrick finite element analysis request, carries on the computationwith SACS software, run the calculation and analysis, check the computed results throughthe analysis of the derrick on each member of UC value calculation, modify the membersection and material, and recalculation; The derrick eventually to meet thestrength, stiffness and stability with a lighter weight, finally achieve a reasonabledesign, reliable use, cost economy.
