In the paper,a series of researches were focused on pretreated nutshells andNR(PVC) blends.The content of nutshells pretreated by enzyme and by Superfinegrind, the different reinforcing systems of carbon black、silica or the blends of CB andsilica were studied.We prepared wood-plastic composite with the nutshells and PVCand studied the effects of the nutshell size on properties of PVC wood-plasticcomposite has been studied.At first we blended the nutshells which pretreated by enzyme with NR andreinforced them with carbon black and silica.The result showed that the elongation atbreak increased with the increase of the nutshell content,however,the tensile strengthand tear strength decreased.The content of nutshells had no effect on aging and Paynewhich were reinforced by carbon black.The nuclear magnetic crosslinking densityanalyzer showed the crosslinking density decreased.In the silica reinforcing system,the tensile strength and tear strength and elongation at break increased with the contentof nutshells increasing and it can be atributed to the decrease of the effect onPayne.The content of nutshells had no effect on the scorch time and cure time.Thenutshells can improve the dispersion of silica in NR and mechanical properties of theblends.We also blended nutshells pretreated by Superfine grind with NR and reinforced it with carbon black or silica. The result showed that in the carbon black reinforcingsystem the increase of the content of nutshells can decrease the scorch time and curetime and mechanical properties.In the carbon black and silica reinforcing system,thecontent of nutshells increase resulted in the increase of tear strength. In the silicareinforcing system,the content of nutshells increasing resulted in the decrease ofmooney viscosity, the cure time and the increase of the scorch time.We can use silicato improve the processing and security of rubber and mechanical properties.At last,we blended nutshells which pretreated by Superfine grind with PVC. Thetensile strength and impact strength decreased with the increase of the content of thenutshells. At first the bending strength increased but then decreased.The hardnessdidn’t change.We can also see from the result that DOP can improve theprocessing.The size of nutshells have no effect on the mechanical properties...
