In this context, we willuse the theory of modern science and technology—Kansei engineering and combinetraditional design and craft culture. Finally, complete the design of Chinese traditional comb.First understand the contents of the Chinese daily comb’s history, materials, shape,decoration, etc, then implement analysis and innovative design according to the method ofKansei engineering. Through market research, access to relevant information, largely collectthe emotional words of the consumer image to the comb. Simultaneously, analyze and classifythe collected words, excluding the extreme and unrelated word; Form words group betweenthe tidied words and their antonym and configure the semantic differential scale; Collect arepresentative sample to experiment and collect data on the target population; Use moderncomputer technology and statistical methods to these words for qualitative and quantitativeanalysis, so that the data has certain scientific; Re-configure the semantic differentialcomponent for the selected words group and re-collect a representative sample for a secondaryexperiment to obtain the relevant data; Re-use the computer for statistical analysis and obtaina greater impact factors to consumers, these factors can be as design points.
