So clothing is one of the important elements in the national culture composition.Our country is a multi-ethnic country, the Tibetan is one of the most mysterious ethnic in it. Tibetan has a long history and bright culture in our country. which has a wide distribution, large populations, and has larger influence of our nation.Because of this, the Tibetan culture has always been closely watched.Thangka, is a kind of unique painting art form in Tibetan culture, this subject matter content involved by Tibetan history, politics, culture, social life, and many other areas, that is the most concentrated in the Tibetan culture and has essence of cultural symbol. And Tibetan dress has Tibetan historical memory, mind folk customs, status symbols, signs such as clan community social and cultural significance, is the most intuitive Tibetan culture and a symbol of the most expressive language. But it will not be easy if you want to understand Tibetan costume cultural connotation behind.Choose to see thangka clothing is the biggest characteristic of this paper, the purpose of it is to find the historical and cultural information, starting from the overall Angle and the view of Tibetan culture, the cultural connotation of Tibetan costume, religious meanings, values and aesthetic system and in-depth digging, more intuitive knowledge and understanding in the academic field Tibetan culture and art to provide a new window through the thangka.
