High speed warp knitting machine products meet the development trend of the market insmall batch and multispecies, high-speed warp knitting technology has been developingrapidly. High speed warp knitting machine which controlled by the rotation servo motor hasbeen widely studied since it has the lower price of the same quality than high speed warpknitting machine which controlled by linear servo motor. After years of technical research anddevelopment, now speed of warp knitting machine which controlled by the rotation servomotor has reached1000r/min in recent years. In this paper, the its key factors of performanceof high speed warp knitting machine electronic shogging system are analyzed andexperimentally optimized in the platform designed.Firstly, The paper introduces electronic shogging technology on high speed warp knittingmachine, describes development and research at home and abroad Then the paper describesthe structure of the composition and motion control theory of electronic shogging system. Theproduct design leads to discussion of the electronic shogging movement characteristics oflarge acceleration, small error range and high frequency start-stop, and then the factors ofperformance are discussed one by one.Then the mechanical structure of the shogging controller (including a ball screw), thecoupling member (coupling structure and plunger and reply spring), the shogging frame areanalyzed, calculated, designed or selected. In the control system, motion law curve ofelectronic cam, control strategy, servo system, the spindle cells were analyzed and designed,a complete new system with excellent characteristics is completed.The last, on the basis of the discussion and research above, system performance areexperimentally optimized: the institution of the original cylindrical shogging motion part byelectric servo cylinder contributes superior performance in the experiment by measuring itsload. As the core of electronic cam, motion law curves of electronic cam are theoreticallychosen and response performance of which is tested. The constant acceleration curve wasdemonstrated in practice to follow instructions well, which has better positioningcharacteristics. While the maximum machine speed and large distance shogging time of theconstant acceleration curve aren’t better than the curve which are constituted by constantacceleration curve in the front and five polynomial curve in the back. Speed/positioncontrol strategy are better than the speed control strategy in positioning time, followinginstructions. In chosing the superior servo system, response performance of the two systems is tested. The maximum speed, the load rate proved the result correct.
