With the development of power electronics and automatic control technology, weldingtechnology has been developed from the simple component connection or blankmanufacturing into one of the finishing methods among the manufacturing industries. Asthe manufacturing industries rapidly developing, the traditional manualwelding cannot meet the modern high-tech products’ requirements in both quality andquantity. Nowadays, modern welding is developing towards the direction ofmechanization and automation, more and more automatic welding equipments have beenavailable, transverse seam submerged arc welding machine is one of the most advanced.While, there is also inadequacy, that is, its multi-motor control system isunable to make an overall control, and then may bring some effect to the weldingautomation. Thus, the deeper study of the transverse seam submerged arc weldingmachine’ motor control system is very important to the welding production.Chapter one and two introduce the research status, motor speed control technology, andcontrol algorithm of multi-motor coordination control system, and analyze some controlalgorithms’ features. Chapter three introduces the multi-intelligent motor control models.We put forward the idea of using multi-agent technology in the multi-motor control system,and then analyzed the internal connection between multi-motor control system and multi-agent system in transverse seam submerged arc welding machine, the results proved thatmulti-agent consistent algorithm can realize many first order brushless direct current motoragents’ speed coordination operation. We built structural and control models of single andmulti-first order brushless direct current motor agents. Chapter four firstly introducedcommon multi-motor coordination control strategies, comparatively analyzed their meritand demerit, then chose relative coupling control as the article’s multi-motor controlstrategy. Secondly, we built the simulate models of single brushless direct current motor, and obtained the rotate speed simulate curve. Thirdly, Fuzzy PID controller’s designprocess is introduced, and under the Matlab environment, using Fuzzy PID and multi-motor consistent algorithm to build the simulate models of three brushless direct currentmotor coordination control systems. Simulation obtained three motors’ simulate curves ofload mutation and unload, and the simulate control curves of containing consistentalgorithm and not. Comparatively analyzed the simulate curves, the results show thatFuzzy PID and multi-agent consistent algorithm can make each motor’s speed oftransverse seam submerged arc welding machine realize fast convergence, achieved speedsynchronous coordination.Finally, we introduced the scheme design of motor coordination control system, and wedesigned the hardware and software systems whose control cores are TMS320F2812.
