With the development of the world economy, global warming is becoming moreand more serious, CH4as the world’s second greenhouse gas after CO2is getting moreand more attention by the international community. Gas emission during the coalmine development process is one of the important sources of CH4in the atmosphere, therefore, gas emission during coal mine development is gradually obtained moreattention. China as the main country of coal production and consumption, has beenunder enormous international pressure exerted by the emission reduction. In order tocope with the international pressure, develop reasonable emission reductioncountermeasures, comprehensive and accurate data are needed. This paper is based onthe research of each mine gas emission status of actual In the Northeast of China, collects the relevant gas emission data to analysis, and formulate the correspondingservice information management system for preparation. At the same time, this paperanalyzes the current common calculation methods for gas emission during the coalmine development process, and puts forward a new method to calculate the gasemissions. This paper mainly for the following aspects of work:(1) Analyzed and summarized the common characteristics of gas emissionscalculation method, including IPCC method, and proposes a new method usingmining emission factor and gas content as the parameter to calculate.(2) Combined with data of daxing coal mine of Tiefa mining area, to calculatethe coal exploitation in the process of the residual stock now in goaf of fullymechanized working face gas.And the data of gas utilization in Tiefa mining area areanalyzed.(3) The method proposed by this paper has been validated with the actual gasemission data in Tiefa mining area. And then the concept of mine gas emissionsrelatively has been put forward. GRNN model has been adopted to predict gasemissions relative of mine, and then the paper has proposed GRNN model predictionof mine gas emissions. (4) According to the collected data’s characteristics and user’s needs, MFC as themain framework is developed for program information management system in thedevelopment process of gas emission of coal. The system can not only meet the basicfunction as data entry, query, modify and delete function, but also add some practicalfunction of file transfer, calculators, user-friendly to operation.
