Landfill leachate is from landfill waste itself contains the water, into the landfillrain water and other water, less saturated water waste, soil covering, a highconcentration of wastewater and waste layer and the overlying soil formation.It hasthe characteristics of high concentration sewage material, complex composition,water quality and quantity changes.Landfill leachate treatment has become aworldwide problem of wastewater treatment field.Most city in China is to refuse todeal with landfill manner, but in the landfill process produces a large number oflandfill leachate, if not handled properly, it will cause serious pollution to thesurrounding water and soil.This paper will be based on the actual situation of thelandfill leachate treatment of landfill leachate degradation, adsorption and chemicaloxidation treatment technology, in order to reduce leachate yield, reduce theprocessing cost, and achieve efficient treatment effect.Landfill leachate treatment methods include physical and chemical andbiological method.Physical and chemical method are mainly activated carbonadsorption, chemical precipitation, density separation, chemical oxidation, chemicalreduction, ion exchange, membrane, gas mentioned methods wet oxidation method,the COD is2000~4000mg/L, of the COD removal rate was50%~87%.Comparedwith biological treatment, physicochemical treatment is not affected by the waterquality and quantity changes, water quality is relatively stable, especially in lowBOD5/COD ratio (0.07~0.20) to biological treatment of landfill leachate, has goodtreatment effect.But the high cost of treatment, treatment is not suitable for largequantity of landfill leachate.This paper uses ozone catalytic oxidation method for treating landfillleachate.We made to γ-Al2O3for copper, zinc carrier of immobilized metal ioncatalysts, which were combined with ozone catalytic oxidation with landfillleachate.In the production process, the γ-Al2O3in copper sulfate and zinc sulfatesolution in three supersaturated immersion, and in a muffle furnace respectively at 400°C,600°C,800°C roasting, by catalytic effect test under different conditions.Theresults showed that the catalyst, copper catalyst of leachate in the highest removalrate of COD, zinc catalyst of leachate in the highest removal rate of NH3-N.
