Methanol is not only an important chemical raw material, and is the excellent performanceof energy and motor fuels. It can be directly used as a vehicle fuel, also can be used mixed withgasoline. It can be directly used in power station or diesel fuel, or the ZMS-5molecular sievecatalyst into gasoline. It can react with isobutylene generates methyl tert-butyl ether, used as agasoline additive. Most domestic enterprises are still using the traditional production process,based on the annual output of one hundred thousand tons of methanol synthesis process forAspen simulation and analysis, the optimal operating conditions, which can guide the siteequipment installation, and the process control points after driving control.Traditional process for methanol distillation device adopts the twin towers of pure methanolproduct, under the condition of normal production of distillation tower residual liquid emissionsa year in thirty thousand, average discharge residual liquid methanol content at about2%, by theanalysis of testing the residual liquid chemical oxygen consumption in more than1%to2%. Ayear in normal discharge of residual liquid not only lost more than500tons of methanol in vain[23], at the same time also caused great environmental pollution. Therefore, how to reduce themain tower of methanol content in liquid residue distillation to reduce the consumption ofmethanol, reduce production costs, reduce the residual liquid discharged pollution to theenvironment, is the national industrial methanol production in an important topic ofenergy-saving, environmental protection, also in this paper, in the design of methanol productionurgently needs to solve a practical problem, this design mainly studies three tower distillationtechnology, on the basis of a comparative fully various processing methods, new ideas based onclean production and technique to the existing technological process and operation indexes, rawmaterials, products and intermediate products to the actual measurement and assessment, and thecorresponding improvement, on the basis of the material and heat balance distillation model isset up, and determine the need to optimize the main operation indexes, and according to theproduction load and composition of raw materials, increase the main tower distillation extractionand stripping line, after three distillation tower, a higher purity of methanol, and the production quantity control, introducing the main tower lateral line extraction material batch distillation ofthe existing recycling equipment to recycle the methanol.New methanol production process, generally used methanol separator ultrafiltrationmembrane separation of methanol synthesis tower discharging, to obtain the crude methanol, itstheoretical model for the ultrafiltration. Ultrafiltration membrane methanol separator with lowpollution, low energy consumption, easy operation, etc. To this separation unit, processsimulation and analysis based on Aspen Plus V7.1platform, use software Excel95template ofultrafiltration membrane methanol separator model carries on the preliminary development andexplored. Model by selecting the appropriate calculation module, the appropriate propertymethods and accurate input Excel template to get the simulation value with the factory roughlytallying with the actual data. Excel user model established in this paper can be used as amethanol ultrafiltration membrane separation process design basis, to device design,optimization and membrane pollution control provides the basis.
