Mechanical oil pumping is the main way of convention oil pumping at home and abroad,and suker-rod pumping unit is the most extensive technology that is used on world oilpumping trade,this kind of elevation also has dominated on the oil pumping engineering up tonow. The attrition of sucker rod and tube is a widespread problem of domestic and foreignoilfields in the suker-rod pumping unit. It not only led to sucker rod string fracture, but alsocaused leakage by worn out tube, seriously affected the normal operation of oil wells,shortened the period of exemption of wells, caused great economic losses. So effectivelyreduce or prevent the harmful of eccentric wear has important significance for increasepumping wells production, knock-down production costs, improve economic efficiency.Rod pump has been used for a long time in Yanchang Oilfield. The attrition of sucker rodand tube has been one of the main factors affecting the extraction efficiency. This papercombined theory with practice based on the sucker rod pump working principle and rodsystem model of force analysis, has analysed the main causes of Yanchang oilfield partial wearof rod pump; and according to the situation of partial wear of Yanchang oilfield, proposedmeasures which reduce or prevent eccentric wear, mainly including the optimization ofswabbing parameters, weighting rod centralizer design, optimization and special materialsetc..Finally, it has compiled a set of sucker rod pumping wells attrition period forecastingsoftware based on the theoretical analysis, helping field personnel judge the attrition periodquickly of pumping wells, guide the oilfield of eccentric wear prevention.
